Aphasia is a language disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate. There are many ways in which this impairment can be defined, yet they all point to the same end; that when the areas of a person’s brain that produce, assemble and then arrange words into language are damaged, the ability to communicate and comprehend is reduced, if not negated.
